The South Tyrolean Christmas crib embellishes the Advent
With the figures of the South Tyrolean nativity scene, the Christmas story can be presented in a very individual way. As soon as the first Nativity figures are brought out, the tension rises. And already the beginning of Advent becomes a special experience. At the center of attention is of course the Holy Family, who at the beginning of the Christmas season move into the crib stable guarded by a Gloria angel. Little by little, ox and donkey, sheep, goats, chickens, shepherds and kings are added. Components of an original South Tyrol nativity scene
The Nativity sets from South Tyrol consists of more than 48 nativity figures. These include the Holy Family with Mary, Joseph and the Child Jesus lying in the cradle, ox and donkey, various sheep and shepherds as well as the three kings. Also the Gloria angel is not missing. Each of these figures is carved from wood and available in the sizes 8 cm, 10 cm, 12 cm, 14 cm, 16 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 33 cm and 50 cm.
